ReplayWatch

Terms of use

This is a working draft for the ReplayWatch MVP, operated from Ireland by ReplayWatch. Have a solicitor review it before you take payment from the public. Contact: the contact address published in the site settings.

The service

ReplayWatch offers a public read-only scan of a URL you submit, and optional monitoring of flows on apps you verify that you control. The scan does not log in or submit forms. Monitoring runs a browser against paths you describe, on a schedule and, on paid plans, after a deploy webhook.

Accounts and scans

Monitoring needs an account with an email and password. The free scan needs an email so we can send the summary and add you to our signup list, tagged free-scan. You must only scan and monitor apps you are allowed to test.

Plans and payment

The written scan report is a one-off charge of $9. Pro is $19 per month. Agency is $49 per month. Checkout is provided by Stripe and accepts promotion codes. Prices are in USD and exclude tax until you enable Stripe Tax with an active registration. Cancel or change a subscription in the customer portal. The plan on the account follows Stripe webhooks, not the browser page you land on after checkout.

No guarantee we catch every break

A passing check means that particular script or page assertion succeeded at that time. It is not a warranty that the app is correct, secure, or available. Alerts are sent after a retry and a second failed check so a single flake does not page you. Email delivery depends on your provider.

Scripts you save

Playwright scripts you save run on the ReplayWatch worker with access to a browser pointed at your verified app. Do not put secrets you would not publish into a script. We reject scripts that try to reach Node.js APIs, but this is not a perfect sandbox.

Acceptable use

Do not use ReplayWatch to attack sites you do not own, to overload someone else’s service, or to submit credentials into third-party products. We may suspend an account that does.

Liability

The service is provided as available. To the extent Irish law allows, ReplayWatch is not liable for lost profits, lost customers, or a bug the checks did not catch. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. The courts of Ireland have jurisdiction, without removing any rights you have as a consumer.
